Barn, immediately west of Pinfold Farmhouse

Cruck barn. Probably C16, encased C17 with C18 addition to right.Coursed rubble. Stone slate roof. Three internal bays plus additional bay to right. Quoins. Central square-headed cart entrance with oak lintel and quoined surround. The right part of the front wall has been rebuilt and has altered openings. Rear: opposing square-headed cart entrance.

Interior: two cruck-trusses, numbered II and III, both with internal part of tie-beam cut out. Collars. Single purlin, diagonal ridge, oak rafters. Diagonal braces from crucks to purlins (some replaced, some missing).
