Roper House


Stable range. Mid C18, altered. Rendered. Corrugated metal roof. Three
internal bays. Outshut to right has two single-light windows and an arched
doorway to its left return. Two entrances each with quoined surround and
deep lintel and a 3rd (part-blocked) in a lean-to addition to the left.
Doorway at high level (probably later). Gable copings on cut kneelers.
Rear: C20 window openings.

Interior: two trusses, one with queen struts and one with king post and
struts, both of re-used timber.
