3/140 Winter Hill Farmhouse


Farmhouse. C17 or early C18 origin, remodelled mid C19. Rendered. Stone
slate roof. Two storeys. Three-bay front with 2-bays of 3-light flat-faced
mullion windows, with extended heads and sills, to left end, and an entrance
and one single light to ground floor right end. Chamfered gable-copings on
moulded kneelers. Brick ridge stack. Plain rear elevation except for small
single-storey wing.

Interior: One principal rafter roof truss with cambered tie-beam.
