Mid C17. Magnesian limestone ashlar. Two gateways, one (arched) for pedestrians,
the other (consisting only of the gate piers) for carriages: Plain chamfered
flat arch with Steeply. angled voussoirs. Mediaeval figural sculpture incorporated
above. chamfered piers to carriage gates: conical caps.
