walls at Bilham Lodge

Gate piers with linking walls. Early C19. For the Brodsworth Hall estate.
Ashlar limestone. Central pair of gate piers with additional pier to side gate
on left and concave wing walls terminating in end piers. Each pier has plain
plinth and shaft of large blocks, cornices., Piers flanking gateways retain large
ball finials. Wing walls have coping. Forms west entrance to Brodsworth Hall
estate.
