Schoolhouse now 2 dwellings. Probably C17 with later alterations and additions.
Rubble limestone, stone slate eaves courses to pantile roof. 2 storeys, total
of 3 windows to 1st floor, C19 wing to rear left with angle infilled by range
parallel to front. Large quoins. Near-central stone porch has chamfered, quoined
doorway with arched lintel beneath asymmetric gable with kneelers and copings.
Blocked doorway to right now obscured by porch roof; beyond, a 3-light mullioned
window to each floor has casements with glazing bars in recessed, chamfered
surrounds. Left-hand house has door with overlight and plain lintel adjacent to
porch; similar 3-light window to each floor on left; former 2-light window over
door has mullion removed. Plinths and oversailing courses to rendered brick end
stacks, small ridge stack above porch.
