House. Late C17 with C18 and C19 alterations and additions. Rubble limestone,
stone slate roof. 2 storeys and attics, 2:2 windows on main (garden) front,
outshut to rear of garden front with mock-Tudor gabled projection facing road.
Central straight joint with quoined C17 part to left. Panelled door set beneath
joint has square-faced surround, rustic-wood porch. 2 windows to each floor on
left have old sashes with glazing bars in square-faced surrounds. Remains of C17
window surrounds remain to left of bay 1 and of porch. Windows to right of porch
have C20 casements in altered double-chamfered surrounds with sills lowered, enlarged
window immediately to right of porch. 4 roof-dormers having casements with glazing
bars. Hipped roof with early C20, brick end stacks and matching ridge stack above
porch. Roadside front has corbelled bressumer beneath gabled projection, probably
c1900.
