GV II

Farmhouse. c1800, altered. Brindled brick in English garden wall bond with
contrasting brick dressings, pantile roof. 2 storeys and attic, 3 windows to
1st floor with later wing to rear left. C20 panelled door and 3-pane
overlight beneath segmental arch in basket-arched recess. Flanking C20
casements with later brick infill beneath raised sills and segmentally-arched
heads. 1st floor: outer windows as ground floor; blind central window with
projecting stone sill and basket arch. Dentilled eaves. Shaped kneelers and
ashlar gable copings. Brick end stacks, that to left rebuilt. Boarded attic
doors on each return. Rear wing now truncated and flat-roofed.
