House. Mid-late C18 with early/ C19 wing, altered. Painted brick, Welsh
slate roof. L-shaped plan having lower wing to rear right 2 storeys and
attic, 5-bay front. Chamfered brick plinth, Central C19 part-glazed door
and plain fanlight flanked by tall sashes with projecting sills and flat
arches. 1st floor: band beneath similar sashes with moulded sills and flat
arches. Eaves cornice and baited gutter. later brick end stacks. Wing to
rear has C20 addition which is not of special interest.

Interior: 6-panel doors off the hall in-C18 architraves with cornices.
C19 staircase. Served as a girls private boarding school in the C19.
