Farmhouse. Mid-late C18, altered. Red brick in Flemish bond with ashlar
dressings, C20 cement-tile roof. 2 storeys and attic, 5 bays; 3-storey, 2-
bay wing to rear left and outshut to main range from which a gabled stair
wing rises in the rear angle. Added porch (not of special interest) encloses
part-glazed door and plain overlight in architrave beneath pulvinated frieze
with central panel and cornice on consoles. Other bays on each floor have
projecting stone sills to later casements beneath rubbed-brick flat arches;
ashlar lst-floor band. Dentilled eaves beneath moulded ashlar cornice
surmounted by shaped kneelers to ashlar gable copings; corniced brick end
stacks. Rear: door to side of wing on right has ashlar surround; window to
stair wing has rubbed-brick flat arch. Left return: later casements with
shallow projecting sills and flat-arched heads; dentilled eaves; shaped
kneelers and ashlar gable copings on left with corniced end stack; similar
ridge stack.
