Group of 3 houses. 1908. By Percy Houftan for the Brodsworth Colliery
Company. Roughcast brick, later cement-tile roof. 2 storeys, 1 : 2 : 1
windows to 1st floor; symmetrical composition with recessed centre between
gables. Wooden casements with glazing bars throughout. No. 36 (to centre)
has part-glazed door beneath canopy on scrolled brackets flanked on each
floor by 3-light windows. No. 38 (to right) has matching doorway on right of
4-light window and 4-light window to gable. No. 34 the same but handed.
Swept eaves; 2 rendered ridge stacks. Part of Woodlands colliery village
(see under Church of All Saints, Central Avenue).
