Milepost. Late C19. Maker: Brayshaw and Booth, Liversedge. Cast iron,
fixed on gritstone pillar. Angled sides and sloping top plate beneath round-
headed panel. Raised lettering reads:

On upper panel: TADCASTER & DONCASTER / ROAD / BENTLEY / WITH / ARKSEY

On left side: DONCASTER / 2 MILES

On right side: YORK 34 3/4 MILES / TADCASTER / 25, MILES / WAKEFIELD /
