Large farmhouse and attached outbuilding. C18 remodelled C19. Roughcast
rubble, C20 pantile roof. 2 storeys and attic, 5 bays; attached 2-storey
outbuilding with 7 openings to 1st floor. House has quoins and old
2-panelled door to bay 4 flanked by horizontally-sliding, 2-light sashes with
glazing bars beneath segmental brick arches; similar type of sash to bay 1
beneath square-sectioned hoodmould; renewed casement to bay 2 in former door
position. lst floor: bays 1, 3 and 5 all have windows as those below; bay 2
has blind recess beneath segmental brick arch; similar arch over casement to
bay 4. Shaped kneelers and square-cut gable copings; rendered ridge stack to
right bay 2. Outbuilding set back on right: all openings with segmental
brick arches; fenestration as the house. Part-glazed doorway to far left
then 2 windows, 2 boarded doors and a slatted stable window on right.
1st floor: openings, 2, 4 and 7 are blind; to right of opening 4 is a small
blind oculus.
Interior: house: fireplace in ground-floor, bay-3 room has brick basket arch,
beehive oven in arched recess to right; some wall cupboards to left with
L-and H-hinges.
