(north end),
1/92 Tanpit Bridge
Bridge. Early C19. Deeply-coursed, dressed stone with brick-lined soffit.
Single span carrying road over the River Went. Segmental arch with raised
keystone; band beneath parapet with chamfered copings which step up to a
block at each end; no end piers. Track to east crosses river via a ford.
Partly on Tanpit Lane in the parish of Walden Stubbs in the county of North
Yorkshire. Illustrated in:
