near Campsall
3/95 The Windmill
Tower mill now house. c1800 with C20 additions. Roughcast brick, C20 felted
dome. 4-storey truncated cone with C20 house adjoining south side (not of
special interest). East side: a casement with glazing bars beneath segmental
brick arch to each floor; lowered sill to ground floor, others in line above
have curved sills. West side similar. North side has openings to lower
2 floors only. Now entered from doorway within C20 house addition; tower now
capped by C20 ogee-domed roof. Interior not inspected.
