GV II

House, now shops. Early C19 with later alterations. Stucco with painted stone
dressings and slate roof. Three storeys, 5 bays plus narrow recessed bay to far
right. C20 shop fronts across full width of ground floor, with recessed entrance
providing access to upper floors to right-hand bay. Five full height first-floor
windows, all with C20 casements except narrow bay to right with 4-pane sash. Four
right-hand windows partly obscured by tall fascia board. Second floor has 5 2-pane
sashes with timber architraves and projecting stone sills. Blocked opening with
sill to narrow bay. Dentilled and moulded cornice. Original hopper head to narrow
right-hand bay, with square gutter. Stumps of brick end stacks.
