House, now offices and attached railings. Late C18. Stucco with painted
stone dressings and slate roof. Three storeys and 3 bays plus slightly recessed
two storey single bay to left. Plinth. Steps to central Venetian doorcase
with 6 raised and fielded panelled door below stiled semi-circular fanlight
with glazing bars flanked by engaged Tuscan columns and pilasters which support
short sections of entablature; moulded architrave to central arch, and blind
panels between columns and pilasters. Venetian windows with unequal sashes
with glazing bars and pilasters carrying entablatures, to either side and
far left. All ground floor openings in blind semi-circular headed recesses.
4 12 pane sashes to first floor over continuous sill band, central window
over the doorcase in architrave with cornice, set in blind semi-circular headed
recess. Above central 6 pane sash flanked by narrow inserted windows and
beyond to either side plate glass sashes. All with projecting stone sills.
Hipped roof with end brick stacks. Left return with blind openings. C18
style replacement railings to front. No 1 and 2 to left (qv) form a pair.
Interior much altered.
