Chest tomb. George Whiting, died 1709. Limestone ashlar. Sunken square
panels; inscribed and arcaded end panel with enriched pilasters; plain frieze
with memento mori; moulded plinth and cornice. One of a very important group
of family chest tombs with Renaissance details.
