Guide pillar. C19, lettering recut C20. Gritstone, approx. 16 in. x 11 in. and
4 ft 3 in. high. Probably re-used gatepost, hole pierced through face.
Lettering in recessed bands with original direction arrows below and the
letters R and M below the word SHEFFIELD. Benchmark at base.

Inscriptions on north face read BRADFIELD
