Barn. Probably C17, C20 alterations. One cruck frame, coursed gritstone
rubble, stone slate roof. Single storey, 6 bays with aisled outshuts Quoins.
Left part of walling rebuilt. Centrally placed outshut has board door in its
right return. Cart entry to right with large boarded doors, to its right a
shallow projecting C20 outshut. Right return : Large C20 door with iron casement
over. Interior : to left of cart entrance, 1 cruck pair with replaced wall tie,
purlin tie and diagonal set ridge. Rear blade on concrete plinth. Adjacent
principal rafter trusses,otherwise C20 king post trusses. Garage attached to
rear right not of special interest.
