House. Late C17, C20 extension. Coursed, squared gritstone, stone
slate roof, pebble-dashed extension. 2 storeys, 2 windows tb first floor
of main range. 1½-storey gabled extension to front of house has 1 window
to upper floor. Large quoins. Front gabled extension has glazed porch
door to left with 3-light wood casement to right and a reset 3-light
stone mullioned window to far right. Dripmould. Casement to gable.
Main range: altered double-chamfered window now forms doorway within porch,
another altered opening to right of projecting extension. Dripmould.
First floor has former 2-light double-chamfered mullion window to left
and former 3-light to right, now with mullions removed and C20 casements
inserted. Shaped kneelers, gable copings. Shouldered and corniced ashlar
ridge stack to right of centre. Left return: plinth. 4-light double-
chamfered mullion window to ground floor, central mullion only remaining.
Dripmould, Similar 3-light window above without mullions, hoodmould.
Unusual gable plaque with circles inscribed within a rectangular grid.
Right return: double-chamfered windows, two of 2-lights (only 1 with mullion)
and 2 other single lights, Included partly for group considerations.
