ST 57 SE LONG ASHTON LONG ASHTON ROAD (north-west side)

Detached house. Early - mid C18, altered; possibly incorporating an earlier
structure. Rubble; pantiled roof; brick stacks. L-plan with the main range
at right angles to the road. 2 storeys. 4 bays: glazing bar sash windows;
the far left windows have 20-panes; canted bay window on ground floor to right.
6-panel door at far right. The roadside elevation has 2 windows on ground floor
and 3 on the first. Interior the living room has a 6-panel door with raised
and fielded panels; china cupboard with arched head and cut shelves, a drawer is
signed and dated 1739.
