Coachhouse and stable,now restaurant. Early C19, 1982 addition to rear,
Horizontally-tooled, coursed, squared sandstone; stone slate roof. 2
storeys, 7 bays. Symmetrical facade. C20 small-pane glazing to doors
and windows. Central carriage entrance has quoined reveals and keyed
basket arch. Doors to bays 1,3,5 and 7 and windows to bays 2 and 6.
Former loft has central oeil-de-boeuf with oculus to each side. Moulded
kneelers and cavetto-moulded gable copings. Right gable: glazed lunette
window with scalloped ledge. Included partly for group considerations.
Attached building to left and single-storey link-block attached to right
not of special interest.
