Guide pillar, C19, lettering recut C20. Gritstone, approximately 17 in.
square and 3 ft 6 in. high. Lettering in recessed bands with original
direction-indicating fingers below. The dates 1860 and 1940 carved on
north-west face. Benchmark on north-east side.
