Wrongly marked on O.S. map as Rivelin Side. Farmhouse, Early C18.
Deeply coursed rough-ashlar gritstone, stone slate roof, Symmetrical
facade. 2 storeys and attic, 3 windows to first floor, All windows
with double-chamfered surrounds, renewed mullions and wood casements.
Large quoins, chamfered plinth, Central part-glazed panelled door
with 5-pane overlight, all in deeply chamfered quoined surround,
Flanking 3-light windows, Dripmould. Central 2-light window to first
floor flanked by 3-light windows. Dripmould. Moulded kneelers, gable
copings. Central rooflight with C20 roof dormer to each side, Ashlar
end stacks with moulded string and cornice.
