Gate piers, gates and railings. Mid C19. Gritstone piers, cast and wrought-iron gates and
railings. 4 gate piers support central double gate with flanking single gates.
Matching footpath gate to left. Railings terminate at gate piers approximately
20m south of south porch. Piers : square section on square plinth, moulded
caps, 2 right piers renewed. Central and side gates have closely spaced lower
bars, decorative midrail, stiles and crested top rail. Geometric and gothic
motifs, castellated finials. Railings have square, single and paired, principal
standards with castellated finials, some missing. Gate piers to south of church
have sunken gothic panels. Included partly for group considerations.
