Pair of houses, Early C18. Rendered sandstone, C20 tiled roof.
Originally symmetrical pair with short wing to rear of right part.
2 storeys, 3 : 3 bays. Exposed quoins, C20 part-glazed door to bay 2
in architrave with plain frieze and moulded cornice. Right-hand house
entered from C20 porch to far right. 2-light flat-faced mullions to
bays 1,3,4 and 6 linked by cavetto-moulded lintel band. 2-light windows
to same bays on first floor with single lights to bays 2 and 5, similar
lintel band. C20 wood casements. Shaped kneelers and chamfered gable
copings. Rendered ridge stack to left end and above bay 5. 2-storey
extension to left not of special interest.
