House. Mid C18, rewindowed and extended in early C19. Deeply-coursed,
dressed sandstone; Welsh slate roof. 2 storeys with partial attic.
Earlier central block with two 1st-floor windows with lower additions,
each with one 1st-floor window,to each end. Central part: quoins;
panelled double-door to left of centre in stone architrave with plinth
blocks and cornice. Flanking 16-pane sashes in projecting surrounds
with sunken panels, paterae and cornices; 1st-floor windows the same.
Wing to left set back: panelled door to right in projecting square-cut
surround. Semi-elliptical bay window to left with ashlar apron, 20-pane
sash flanked by 8-pane sashes, pulvinated frieze and cornice. Sash with
glazing bars above has plain surround. Wing to right: panelled door to
left, 16-pane sash to each floor; all with plain projecting surrounds.
Shaped kneelers and ashlar gable copings throughout. Central brick ridge
stack; end stack to right; rendered end stack to left.

Interior: unusual narrow staircases to attic which fold down from wall
recesses. Collared principal rafter trusses. Low outbuilding to right
not of special interest.
