Chantry chapel, now disused. Late C14 - early C15. Coursed rubble with some
render surviving, freestone quoins and dressings; double Roman tiled roof with
coped gables. The west gable has a doorway with a hollow-ogee moulded surround
and a 4-centred head; plank door; plain stone bellcote. The north wall has a
blocked 2-light window with cusped, ogee heads and under a dripmould. The east
gable has a blocked 3-light window also with cusped ogee heads and under a
4-centred head and hood mould. Interior. The roof has fine arch-braced and
moulded principal rafters and arched common rafters, a moulded ridge and
embattled wall plates. Ogee headed piscina. Scheduled as an Ancient Monument,
Avon County No. 108.
