4/78 Duck House at
Home Farm


Duck house. Late C19 or early C20. For the Wentworth estate.
Rock-faced sandstone, stone slate roof. Circular, single-storey.
Curved, boarded door to north side in rock-faced surround. Plinth
pierced by small openings each with iron-plate door. 3 small windows
set round building beneath overhanging eaves. Conical roof with finial.

Interior: circular, ashlar bench encloses nesting compartments. Iron
lids to round access-holes.
