GV II


Lodge. Mid C19. For the Wentworth estate. Dressed sandstone,
Welsh slate roof. Flattened octagon with wing to rear right;
symmetrical front. Single storey. Plinth. Gabled ashlar porch
with round-arched outer doorway and panelled door within; modillioned
wood cornice. Angled side walls each have 16-pane sash with projecting
sill. Eaves band to central gable; cornice (as porch) continues round
building. Hipped roof. Corniced end stack to right and to centre of
rear wing.
