House. Early C19. Coursed, squared and dressed sandstone; Welsh slate roof.
2 storeys with attics, 3 windows to 1st floor, single-storey wing to rear right.
Central doorway: 6-panel door (lower panels flush) and overlight with Gothick
glazing bars; raised ashlar surround with sunken panels; moulded cornice.
Flanking windows have 16-pane sashes with projecting sills and channelled wedge
lintels. Outer lst-floor windows same, narrower central window has sash with
glazing bars. Shaped kneelers, square-cut gable copings. End stacks with tabling.
Rear: porch in angle with wing has reused masonry and old studded door said to
have come from the Chapel of Holy Trinity demolished in 1827. Wing end stack
heightened in brick. Eaves of main range interrupted by large gable. Right return:
numerous old casements with glazing bars.
Interior: comtemporary staircase with slender balustrade. Rear wing has infilled
multiple openings to kitchen range, one with moulded cornice; corner bread oven.
