Milepost. 2nd half C19. Maker: Brayshaw and Booth, Liversedge. Cast-iron,
fixed on gritstone pillar. Angled sides and sloping top plate beneath
round-headed panel. Raised lettering reads:
On small upper panel: BAWTRY & TINSLEY / ROAD / WHISTON
On left side: BAWTRY / MOOR / 16 1/4 MILES / BAWTRY / 14 MILES / TICKHILL / 10 3/4 MILES
On right side: SHEFFIELD / 7 MILES / TINSLEY / 3 MILES
