Bridge and weir. Early C19 for H. Gally Knight of Firbeck Hall. Ashlar limestone.
Single span. Projecting voussoirs to elliptical arch with double keystone;
band and coped parapet of larger ashlar blocks ramp down from centre and curve
out to terminate in rounded end piers. Rear: weir integral with bridge controls
level of lake thus forming main landscape feature to front of Firbeck Hospital
(q.v.). 1
