Farmhouse. C17, altered. Coursed, squared sandstone, pantile roof. 2 storeys
with cellars and attic, 3 windows to 1st floor; entered from rear.
South front: some large quoins; original 4-light double-chamfered mullioned
window on left of similar 3-light window both having iron stanchions, leaded lights
and dripstones. 1st floor: two C20 casements beneath old dripstones, casement
in position of smaller window on left also has dripstone. External end stack on
left has offsets and brick shaft, C20 external end stack on right. Rear: chamfered,
quoined doorway; remains of original 2-light cellar windows and of 2- and 3-light
windows flanking door; C20 windows to 1st floor; obscure splayed recess to left
interrupted by rebuilding of adjacent gable. Left return: single-light windows
flank the stack, ashlar vesicae to attic. Attached outbuilding not of special
interest.
