40 metres to north east of
Nickerwood Farmhouse

Combination farmbuilding. Probably early C19. Deeply-coursed, dressed red
sandstone, pantile roof. 2 storeys, 6 bays. Plinth, large quoins. North side
(away from farmyard): quoined doorways to bays 4 and 6 have deep lintels (bay-
6 door blocked), flanking bays have groups of 3 slit vents (some blocked).
Large entrance to bay 2 has quoins and flat arch now infilled and with smaller
door inserted; window to bay 1. 1st-floor band interrupted by deepened bay-
3 doorway with plain lintel; similar, unaltered doorway to bay 6; other bays
have blocked circular pitching holes with ashlar surrounds. Hipped roof.
Attached farmbuildings not of special interest. Included for group value.
