Gate piers. Probably early C19 reusing material of c1700. Ashlar limestone.
Simple square gate piers with chamfered edges, thin bands beneath pyramidal
plinths to ball finials, that on right missing. Panels buttressing each gate
pier have architraves and scrolled brackets beneath a moulded cornice. At entrance
to the site of Kiveton Park seat of the Osborne family, Dukes of Leeds, now on
drive to Kiveton Hall (q.v). Included for group value.
