6/10 Hardwick Hall Farmhouse
Farmhouse. Late C18, altered and extended early C19. Coursed, squared
sandstone, Welsh slate and pantile roof. Original L-shaped plan having wing
to rear left, later wing infilis rear-right angle. 2 storeys and attic, 3
windows to lst floor. Asfilar plinth, large quoins. Central door in raised
ashlar surround flanked by C20 casements with projecting stone sills and
lintels tooled as voussoirs. 1st floor: sashes with glazing bars, flush wood
frames and similar sills and lintels. Damaged kneelers, ashlar gable
copings; stone end stacks with bands. Left return: stair window.
