Formerly part of the original farmhouse or a related dwelling. Two storey, C17
sandstone and gritstone building with flush quoins. Chamfered mullion windows with
drip moulds, 4 light ones in gable ends. Stone slate roof with saddlestones on
shaped kneelers to gable ends. One gable has a panel carved with the cross of the
Knights of St John of Jerusalem.
