Early C19 farmhouse with contemporary or slightly earlier barn to rear. Rebuild of
earlier farmhouse. The house is of 2-storeys, sandstone "brick". Stone slate roof
with coped gable ends and plain stone eaves brackets; corniced chimneys. Four
windows to south front, mid C19 sashes, thin lintels. Plain doorway. The barn
extends as wing to rear, stone "brick" with stone slate roof. Five narrow stone
framed lunette vents on west side. Reset lintel date stone of 1692.
