Early to mid C17 recasing of timber frame forming the east wing of Bolton Old Hall.
Two-storeys coursed thin cut gritstone. Stone slate roof with shaped kneelers to
gable end. One single light and a 3 light chamfered mullion casement window to
first floor. Two light mullioned casement window and early C19 glazing bar sash
adjoining doorway in plain surrounds on ground floor. The timber frame and roof
structure would appear to carry through from Bolton Old Hall.
