Late C17 farmhouse of irregularly coursed gritstone with uneven quoins. Stone slate
roof with Cl9 corniced chimneys, saddlestones. Roof carried down over rear outshut.
Three first floor windows, 2 and 4 light chamfered mullions. Ground floor has
chamfered mullion-transom hall window of 6 lights, the central mullion larger, to
right hand of doorway and 5 light chamfered mullion window to left; both have drip
moulds. The shallow pedimental gabled stone porch is probably a late Cl8 addition.
East gable end has 2 light chamfered mullion window and doorway with slightly ogee
arch to massive 2 block lintel. Interior may be of interest.
