Probably a farmhouse of C17 origin but altered to tenements. Two-storeys, irregularly
coursed sandstone and gritstone. Stone slate roof: 2, 3 and 4 light late C18 or
early C19, square mullioned windows in squared frames. No 1 on road front and side
retains chamfered mullion windows, 4 light one on first floor. Interior altered
but retains some chamfered beams.
