L-plan block of barn and stabling. The barn is C17 or possibly earlier origin.
Gritstone coursed in large blocks, stone slate roof, recessed portal. The interior is timber framed and double aisled, 6 bays with king post trusses. The stables, at right angles forming east side of yard, are of coursed gritstone and sandstone "brick" with stone slate roof, late C17 or early C18. The gable end with shaped kneelers. Two light square mullioned first floor window and 3 light chamfered mullion on ground floor. Plain squared jamb doorway and external stone steps to first floor loft door with caveto moulded round headed opening.
