Includes Nos 2 to 8 (even) Union Road. Circa 183O L-plan block of cottages
comprising Nos 5O6 to 514 (No 514 now part of No 512) associated with the original
Cannon Mill, then known as Cannan Mill of 1826. Sandstone brick with stone slate
roofs, corniced chimneys. Two light square mullion windows in flush squared frames,
plain squared jamb doorways. Nos 2 to 8 Union Street are of circa 185O contemporary
with the rebuilding and renaming of Cannon Mill. Stone slate roofs stepped down
slope. Corniced chimneys. Sash Windows. Cornices on plain consoles over doorways.
