Probably a late C18 or early C19 building altered to form a pair of small houses
circa 1840-50. Two-storeys sandstone "brick" rather larger size than normal. Stone
slate roof with bracketed eaves corniced chimneys. Entrance front at right angles
to road. Single light and 2 light square mullioned windows on first floor. Ground
floor has 3 canted stone framed bay windows with moulded cornices. Pilastered
corniced doorways. Rear has round headed tall stairlight.
