Corner site with Meadow Road. Circa 1800 refacing and alteration of early C18 or
C17 building. Two-storey sandstone "brick" front but large coursed gritstone
blocks to side and rear. Stone slate roof. Narrow road front with blocked first
floor window space and revealed ground floor sash-window and doorway. Cast iron
C19 railing to small sunken paved forecourt. The south gable end return has broad
3 light square mullioned window to both floors. Three light square mullion windows
of circa 1800 to rear elevation and to lean-to extension.
