Latter part of C18, a pair of cottages, No 243 a slightly later build. Sandstone
"brick", large dressed flush quoins. Stone slate roof with saddlestones. Large
end chimney stacks. Single and 2-light square mullioned windows in squared
surrounds, one altered ground floor of No 241. Plain doorways in squared surrounds.
