3/7 Claptonwick Farmhouse

Farmhouse. Mid C17 with later alterations and additions. Sandstone rubble,
rendered at front, limestone dressings, concrete triple roll tiled roof with
raised coped verges and kneelers, brick and stone gable stacks. T-plan formed
by porch, symmetrical front. 2 1/2 storeys and 3 windows, ground and first floors
have 4-light casement with hood mould left and right, all C20 glazing, central
2-storey gabled porch has C20 half-glazed door in double ovolo-moulded surround,
string course, first floor 3-light casement, finial to gable, ground floor right
and first floor each side have 3-pane light; 2 gables rising to ridge height,
each with 2-light casement in chamfered surround, blocked rectangular opening
above each, ball finials; plinth and limestone quoins. Left return has cellar
door, single storey rear wing with paired plate-glass sashes, plinth continued as
limestone band below cills. Right return has external stack, 2-light casement
with segmental head at attic level set in stack, single storey addition to rear.
To rear in addition to left, C20 window, to right 2-light casement with segmental
head; area between covered by flat roof, door with glazing to each side; first
floor has single and 2-light casement with segmental heads. Interior: not
