Holme Top House

Late C18 two storey house of sandstone "brick" with ashlar dressings. Three bay
symmetrical front facing Holme Top Lane. Chamfered quoins; spaced brackets to eaves
of stone slate roof. Coped gable ends with corniced chimneys. Tripartite square
mullioned windows in squared surrounds. Plat band linking windows above sill level.
Plain squared jamb doorway, panelled door with rectangular fanlight. Mid C19 wing
to north.
